Who founded Jam Jam Art?

Jamaali is the founder of Jam Jam Art and he is creating an Ujima tribe with endless creative applications. Which is a space that allows for collective work in a responsible fashion.

Why Start Jam Jam?

“I have been an artist my whole life. After the 2020 pandemic, I moved to a new city and had to recreate my community. Discord and Twitter provided me a route to connect over arts and crypto technology. In the fall of 2021, I realized the capability of NFTs for my art practice and I have been in the space ever since, sharing my art and connecting with new friends.” – Jamaali

Problems the Blockchain Fixes

Jamaali sees blockchain as an opportunity to better promote and share artwork.

NFTs have shown Jamaali that he is able to “share his art across the world”. Which allows more eyes and artists to see his work.

When asking why he chose Cardano he felt all blockchains would have an impact in the web 3 space for NFTs, but especially likes Cardano for its “cheap fees”.

How the NFTs are minted

“I minted most of my NFTs, via the lazy mint method (using a premade contract) but now I want to dig deeper and explore apps like Crypto Zombies to train myself to code my own unique smart contract.” – Jamaali

NFT Utility

The NFTs Jam Jam creates have a very unique form of utility and by owning one you get:

  • 1/1 art consults/ lessons
  • discounts from his merch store
  • great art and a timelapse

Where Jam Jam Art believes the space is going

“I feel blockchain is on a good path to becoming a ledger for data and means of data communication. I just want govt to know their place and not overreach in conjunction with some larger NFT/blockchain companies.” – Jamaali

Connection to the Sustainable Development Goals

The United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are an urgent call for action by all countries. This enables countries to create global partnerships that work towards achieving these goals. The goal is to achieve the SDGs, which are built upon decades of work by countries and the UN.

Jam Jam Art has a direct connection to SDG 4 Quality Education, SDG 16 Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, and SDG 17 Partnerships for the Goals.

Jamaali uses arts education to explore deeper meanings of equality and explore global art history.

Other projects/initiatives connected to the SDGs

“Trippy Crypto Cubes, NFT Derivatives and Memes, my work supports also the decriminalization of Marijuana, in America. I have lived and seen the injustice from weed-related arrests, and it needs to stop. So my work is a strong supporter of both black creators and marijuana reform.” – Jamaali

News to share

“I am relatively new to the WEB3 and crypto world, but my love for technology has allowed me to catch on and adapt a more decentralized attitude. I am excited to grow and mint more works.” – Jamaali
